A Year of Blogging

Its just on a year since I started blogging and I have enjoyed the experience.  Its like having a sort of diary which one can share with one’s friends and anybody who may be interested in whatever we are up to, since it inevitably provides information that may benefit walkers and the like.

My first year has produced 75 blogs, which have only received 38 comments.  The site has taken 3546 hits (the number of times people have clicked on it) and I have published a great number of photographs.  Since many have been of various flowers seen whilst out walking, I have learnt a few more botanical names, but am still really floundering in this area.

I think that my most popular publication was the article on the Cederberg which achieved 400 hits in two days.  It seems that some people enjoy reading what is published here, so I will continue to keep you up to date on our walks, travels and interesting happenings.  Thank you for your support.

    Hi Ron and Renee

Thanks for your Chrissy wishes and news. Just to show I have had a quick look at Ronnie’s blog, this here is Comment No. 39: Well done, and keep up the good work. Also, best wishes to you all for a grand Christmas [Next month only! You guys are getting a bit like Shoprite Checkers! :)] and may blessings be mixed in your paths like mad in the year to come.
