The Hurriers’ first outing of the year saw 13 members set out from Protea Road for an eight kilometre walk along the cliff path to the New Harbour. It was a beautiful warm morning and the views along the way were magnificent, as usual. On the way back Tricia invited us into her beautiful home for a drink. There we found Julian having his breakfast, after which he joined us for the return to Protea Road. Mick, who had already done the walk with the Walker Bay Walkers, even joined us to do it again, attesting to his fitness.
Having walks like this on our doorstep serves to remind us how lucky we are to live in Hermanus!
