Walking at Kempsrivier Farm

This morning Carl led a group of thirteen around his son-in-law’s farm, Kempsrivier.  It was a change from our usual mountain hikes and provided an opportunity to see what grows on the other side of Babylonstoring Mountain.  Our walk took in some natural vegetation as well as orchards and fields of wheat and canola and extended 8.4 km.

Our Route

We all adjourned to Gabrielskloof for a wholesome and convivial lunch afterwards and only returned to Hermanus at 16h00
