This morning no less than 19 Hurriers turned out for our walk along the sea front at Kleinmond. The weather was perfect, cool and cloudy with a light south-easterly breeze.
The recent fires have resulted in a massive growth of Pelargonium cucullatum and they put on a wonderful show, even if the main flowering period is just past. For good measure, we also found a fine example of Disa hallackii, a rare and endangered species of Orchid.
